Sparked by Lyndon B. Johnson’s 1964 War on Poverty initiative, “A Community Reach” has dedicated itself to addressing social inequalities and through our Affordable Housing initiative of over 250 doors we are improving the quality of life for elderly and disabled individuals in Ohio. We strive to mitigate eviction and homelessness risks, providing a safe and supportive environment for those in need, this very initiative we believe is the cornerstone of our Organization.
At A Community Reach, we address the holistic needs of our communities. Advocating for those that have been disenfranchised from information, opportunities and/or resources. We champion equal access for all those who may struggle to overcome various economic circumstances.
TEAM
I firmly believe that poverty is the number one barrier to community well-being. Unfortunately, poverty often derails access to affordable housing, vital job opportunities, leading to isolation, limited transportation, inadequate education, lack of youth activities, lack of healthcare, and the perpetuation of food deserts. Poverty also fuels racial and class disparities and creates a disconnect from essential information and knowledge, which can significantly contribute to mental health challenges.
Over the past three decades, I have used my diverse background as a Youth Advocate, County Caseworker, Real Estate Broker, Title Insurance owner, and Community and Real Estate Developer to help create new innovative solutions for complex issues surrounding affordable housing, mental health and wellness, workforce development, education and literacy, and youth recreation opportunities. These experiences have provided me the privilege of consulting for various organizations, non-profits, and municipalities, equipping me with valuable insights and resources to bring about effective change.
I am more convinced than ever that it is time to bring my expertise in these critical areas to A Community Reach and lead a global effort to combat poverty.
